We are a busy, food-led gastropub known for our seasonal menus, locally sourced produce, and everything made from scratch. We take pride in serving high-quality, comforting yet creative dishes in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
We’re now looking for an experienced and motivated Second Chef to take a key leadership role in our kitchen team.
As Second Chef, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef to lead the kitchen’s daily operations, maintain high culinary standards, and ensure consistency, quality, and creativity in every dish. You’ll be hands-on — from prepping and cooking to mentoring the team and contributing to menu development.
You’ll also take full charge of the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence, so this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious chef ready to step into a senior leadership role.
Work closely with management to maintain GP targets and food cost control
Food hygiene certificate (Level 2 minimum; Level 3 desirable)
